Holds of the World and Random Files now in Foundry VTT

The two newest books are now part of the Foundry system, as adventure packs you import with one click.

Holds of the World. All nine Holds from London to Cusco with history, cover, people, rumours and hooks. The floor plans are ready scenes with a note on every numbered room, and a click opens the description in the journal.

Random Files. All 113 tables of the book as roll tables, plus four macros: The File in Ten Rolls, A Character in Four Rolls, A Cult in Five Rolls and An Artefact in Five Rolls. Each macro rolls everything in turn and puts the result into the chat as a card for the game master.

As always, everything is rolled with D6. If you already have the system, Foundry offers the update under Game Systems.

Foundry VTT: rules at the table, adversaries on the maps, new tokens

The Foundry VTT game system has reached version 0.6. Three things are new:

The rules at the table. The core rules are now a searchable compendium inside the system, in eleven chapters in English and German. Players can read along.

Adversaries on the maps. The Grey Files maps are ready scenes with a note on every numbered location. The adversaries of each file are already placed as hidden tokens, ready to be revealed when the cell runs into them.

New tokens. Every agent and adversary has a round token based on the book illustrations, with a brass rim for agents and a file-red rim for adversaries.

Also: 152 roll tables that only need D6, a title banner for every compendium and, if you like, dice in the player colour with Dice So Nice. If you already have the system, Foundry offers the update under Game Systems. New install: just search for “O.D.I.N.”.

O.D.I.N. is now on itch.io, DriveThruRPG and has its own Discord

The books are now also available on itch.io and DriveThruRPG. Follow the publisher there to get an email for every new title. The remaining titles are being approved there one by one.

Play online: Foundry VTT and Roll20

There is a dedicated system for Foundry VTT version 14 and later: personnel file, two-colour dice, all class trees, compendiums with ready-made agents, gear and 145 opponents, plus the Quickstart, Grey Files, The Door and The Other Services as adventure packs to import. Install it in Foundry under Game Systems and search for “O.D.I.N.”.

A character sheet for Roll20 has been submitted and is under review. Characters from the character generator can be imported into both.

The whole line: sixteen books, all free

O.D.I.N. is complete in English: Quickstart, Core Rulebook (Second Edition), six class books, Game Master’s Book and screen, the campaign The Door, Grey Files, The Other Services, Arsenal, Holds of the World and Random Files, plus handouts and character sheets. Over 1,000 pages, no sign-up.

Holds of the World presents nine holds from London to Cusco, each with history, cover, floor plan, people and mission hooks. Random Files gives the Game Master a complete file in ten rolls.
