Lone Operative contains rules that let a single player play O.D.I.N. without a game master, with one agent or a small cell of two or three agents. The oracle answers what the agent cannot know: a yes-no question, an oracle roll and four possible answers from “Yes, and” to “No, and Worse”. The player rolls the file with the random tables of the Core Rulebook, sets and checks scenes, and follows pressure and clues to the revelation and the confrontation. Tables supply people, incidents, what the opponent does and what your own handler says on the phone, and the solo operation Operation Last Trail shows the procedure step by step.
For everyone who plays without a group or between evenings with their cell, game masters included; you need the Core Rulebook, eight white and eight coloured dice, a finished agent, a notebook and a pen.
