What it is about

Random Files is a book of tables for the game master that comes into play whenever the cell turns aside, a file is missing or a name is needed in the middle of a session. Ten rolls produce the framework of a White, Grey or Red File, from the report through incident, origin and hidden truth to complication, time pressure and twist. Further tables provide places, people, phenomena, clues, events between the files and images for horror at the table. Rolls use the D6, D12 and D66, but any entry may also be chosen directly: the die suggests, the game master decides. The book supplements the section “A File in Ten Minutes” in the Game Master’s Book and does not replace it.
